COVID-19 travel and visa restrictions for India

Visa for India stand suspended until further notice. The Indian government has extended the corona virus lockdown until 30th June 2020 (Phase 5).

More detailed information on regulations for diplomats, owner of OCI, etc. and travellers who are still in India can be found on the official website of the Bureau of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

The Indian government has eased some of the travel restrictions: Foreign businessmen of certain categorie are allowed to come to India. Moe iformation can be found here.

To travel to India foreign nationals have to obtain a fresh Business Visa from the Indian Missions/Posts abroad. Foreign nationals holding a valid long term multiple entry Business Visa have to get the Business Visa re-validated from the Indian Mission/Post concerned.
