COVID-19 travel and visa restrictions for India

Visas for India stand suspended from 13.03.2020 to 15.04.2020.

Urgent questions on Visa for India

If you live in Baden-Württemberg or Bavaria you can write an email to the Consulate General of India in Munich. In urgent cases regarding visas and stays in India, please send an E-Mail to the following adress: cons.munich@mea.gov.in.

The Honorary Consulate of India in Stuttgart generally does not issue visas and can therefore only give limited advice on visas.

 

Indian citizens in Germany

Travel of passengers from member countries of the European Union to India is prohibited with effect from 18th March 2020. This regulation applies also to Indian citizens staying in Germany (More information).

If a departure is necessary for urgent reasons, please get in touch with the Indian Embassy.
