Indian Summer 2020

Also this year the Indian Summer will take place again in Stuttgart. We cordially invite all those interested in India to use the various offers and to try out the new online formats.

The Indian Film Festival will take place from July 15th to 19th. Here current film productions from different regions of India will be shown. The Indian Film Festival Stuttgart reflects the growing internationalisation of Indian films as well as the interest in Indian culture in Germany. Due to Covid-19 the film festival will mainly take place online this year. You can find current information on the website of the Indian Film Festival.

The Theater am Faden in Stuttgart will present classical Indian music this summer. On July 18th & 19th the brothers Nasir Aziz and Monir Aziz will perform classical Indian music on sitar and tabla. On 25 & 26 July there will be classical South Indian music by Subramania Siva (flute), Karthik Raman (violin) and H.G. Balakrishnan (Mridangam). The programme and registration can be found here.

CreativeDays Stuttgart is an international symposium with events on design, art, architecture and urban planning. The host country is India. On 14 July, a virtual insight by Rupali Gupte from Mumbai will take place. Due to the Corona crisis, however, part of the event will be postponed until October. You can find current information here.
